From Stressed to Blessed

Published: August 27, 2018

You’re diligently serving family, job, and/or ministry – But commitment has left you sleepless. Your blood pressures up! Your life seems to be spiraling out of control. The reason? STRESS! Fatigue, financial distress, loss of a family member, and losing a job can each serve as a stress contributor. But you don’t have to be overcome by stress!

For every challenging situation you face in life, in the Bible, power is available to you when you meditate on and speak the word of God over your life! Allow the following scripture to transform your thinking, and enable you to change your life from stressed to blessed.

James 1:2-4: “ Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”

Romans 12:2: “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

John 14:27: “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

Romans 16:20: “The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.”

Proverbs 16:3: “Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.”

Psalms 118:5-6 “When hard pressed, I cried to the LORD; he brought me into a spacious place. The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”

Psalms 94:19: “When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy.”
