The enemy has produced distractions to keep us from fulfilling the will of God. Jesus taught that the kingdom will come, and God’s will shall be done in us as we remain focused. However, when we set our sights on what others are doing or not doing, we become distracted.
After Jesus had given Peter instruction on his responsibilities in the kingdom while Jesus was yet speaking to him, Peter asked Jesus what John’s responsibilities were. To which Jesus replied, “What is that to you?” We are often so concerned with what others are doing that we miss opportunity to do what we should be doing in the full scope of kingdom building. Are you helping to build the kingdom, or are you a part of the distractions?
